Egg's Health is increased by 100%, its sight radius is increased by 300% and it can see Stealthed enemies.
Passive: Spawning from his Egg increases Murky's mount speed to 45% for 5 seconds.
Activate to place a fake Egg. If the fake Egg dies, it casts an untalented Slime. Maximum 3 fake Eggs.
Passive: Spawning from his Egg grants Murky Stealth for 5 seconds.
Killing a Minion with Pufferfish grants a stack of Bribe. Use 8 stacks to bribe a Mercenary, instantly defeating them. Does not work on Bosses.
Maximum of 32 stacks of Bribe.
Of these talents Fishy Deal aka Bribe is generally the better choice.
However there are some maps where bribe is not as usefull. In which case you will be deciding which egg talent to get.
Fish eye gives you a free watchtower that is placeable anywhere on the map. The extra health will allow you time to relay your egg
if the enemy finds it. The mount speed is usefull as it allows you place the egg a bit farther from the objective but still get back into
the fight quickly.
One downside of the Fish Eye egg is that all enemies will have a red eye over there head telling them they are revealed. Smart players
will use this info to zero in where your egg is.
The fake eggs give vision and should be placed around objectives given the time. They can also be used as mines for melee heroes by dropping them in the middle of your minion wave for example.
The main benefit to the Fish Eye eggs is stealth which was recently nerfed. The primary stealth heroes got buffs to compensate but this talent did not. It's still usefull in that stealth chars will not show up on the minimap.
In general the Fish Eye egg is a little more useful than Egg Hunt but there are still a few maps where I will use Egg Hunt
Quest: Slime enemy Heroes that are already Slimed.
Reward: After Sliming 15 Heroes, increase Slime's bonus damage by 125.
Reward: After Sliming 30 Heroes, increase Slime's slow amount to 30%.
Pufferfish gains 50 Spell Armor and deals 50% more damage to Slimed targets.
Living the Dream
Quest: Every 15 seconds Murky is alive, he gains 5% Spell Power, up to 15%. This bonus is reset upon his death.
Slime Time is generally the goto talent for this level. It set you you up to be a monster in the late game.
In rare cases you may be fighting a ranged team that has high mobility such as (Genji, Li Ming, Valla) In these cases I would pick Living the Dream. Living the Dream also affects March of the Murlocs which can be usefull
Tufferfish is a crutch talent. People usually take it for the early laning phase but I think that is short sighted. Read
Laning Strategies if you are having problems laning. I only pick Tufferfish if I am going to use Octo-Grab.
Increase Slime's radius by 30%.
Slippery When Wet
Gain 50% Movement Speed and move through units while in Safety Bubble. Additionally, Safety Bubble's cooldown is reduced by 2 seconds.
Time To Krill
Basic Attacks against Heroes deal an additional 7 (+4% per level) damage a second and slow the target by 7% for 4 seconds. This effect can stack up to 5 times.
The goto talent for this level is Time to Krill. The slows really help Murk's damage output.
Like Living the Dream, Black Lagoon can be good when fighting a ranged that has high mobility (Genji, Li Ming, Valla)
I only pick Slippery when Wet when I am doing a full split push build. This basically makes you unkillable and allow i
you to run from lane to lane taking out minion waves.
March of the Murlocs
After 0.75 seconds, Murky commands a legion of Murlocs to march in a target direction, each one leaping onto the first enemy Hero or Structure they find. Each Murloc deals 125 (+4% per level) damage and slows its target by 15% for 5 seconds. Murlocs deal 50% damage to Structures.
Murky becomes Unstoppable and Stuns target enemy Hero for 3 seconds while he hits them for 1 damage a second.
This stun is cancelled if Murky is killed :(
March of the Murlocs is great for teamfights over a fixed objective. A good march can wipe out most or all of a team.
Octograb is good for battlegrounds with running fights and small skirmishes. On big maps you get octo-grab if you are split pushing. Generally they will only send one person to 'babysit' murky.
Safety Bubble restores 40% of Murky's maximum Health.
Basic Attacks against Heroes grant Murky 75 Physical Armor against Heroes for 3 seconds.
Spawning from his Egg grants Murky a Shield equal to 100% of his maximum Health. The shield lasts indefinitely.
Rejuvenating Bubble is a solid pick and what most people will go for.
However Fish Tank is very underappreciated. If you are facing autoa ttack heros or double tanks get Fish Tank. It lets you go toe to toe withassasins like Valla/Greymane or tanks like Diablo/Etc.
I would only choose Egg Shell if you go for Octo-Grab. The extra shields may keep you alive long enough for you team to secure a kill.
Every 3rd consecutive Basic Attack against an enemy Hero causes a free Slime to be cast upon them.
The Pufferfish casts Slime at its location upon landing.
Wrath of Cod
Heroes hit by Pufferfish take additional damage equal to 15% of their maximum Health over 5 seconds.
Toxic Buildup is a huge powerspike for Murky. It synergies and should be picked with Slime Time.
Fish Oil should be picked with Tufferfish and Octograb to get the Tufferfish bonus damage.
Wrath of Cod is garbage. Do not ever take it.
March of the Murlocs can be channeled, sending little Murlocs indefinitely.
...And a Shark Too!
Increase the damage of Octo-Grab by 13700%.
Big Tuna Kahuna
Murky's maximum Health and Egg respawn time are doubled.
Reduces the Cooldown of Slime from 4 seconds to 2 seconds.
Never-Ending Murlocs is good for backdooring the enemies structures late in the game. In late game wait for the ojective to start then march their core. The enemy then needs to either deal with murky or win the objective. Be aware that Diablo's stun ultimate will interrupt you.
And a Shark Too! is the coolest talent of any hero. It can guarentee a solo kill 1v1. It can also be usefull if to finish off small health pool hereos like Tracer who are escaping.
Big Tuna Kahuna works well for either slime or octo-grab builds
